Prince Caspian

Well folks... the production of the next movie in the Chronicles of Narnia series just took another step forward.

Ain't It Cool News is reporting the Andrew Adamson, the director of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, has just signed on to direct Prince Caspian.

And the release date for Prince Caspian will be sometime in 2007 (my guess is around Christmas again).

So there you go! Personally, I can't wait. As a young boy I LOVED that story... as I have gotten older I have enjoyed others, notably the Horse and His Boy more, but Prince Caspian has a special place in my heart. It is a great story for boys, about a young king taking the throne as a boy, and fighting battles and everything. The 4 Pevensie kids are back in it too. It also explores more of the time continuum between our world and Narnia. When the kids go back, which to them is the next year, it is hundreds of years later in Narnia. And it is interesting how Lewis portrayed things that had happened.

Anyway, it is a great story, and I look forward to seeing the film. And frankly, I would hope that somehow, I can be involved in it in some small way. Or big way:)
