The pool was fed by the now famous Hezekiah's Tunnel and is ``a much grander affair'' than archeologists previously believed, with three tiers of stone stairs allowing easy access to the water, according to Hershel Shanks, editor of Biblical Archeology Review, which reported the find Monday.
Also, they claim to have found David's Palace. That is a weaker story, but none the less, here it is...
Archeologists Discover What Could Be King David’s Palace, Pool of Siloam
(CBN News) – There have been two possible archeological discoveries in Israel from biblical times.
Israelis have uncovered what may be King David's palace in east Jerusalem. The ruins were found near the wall of the old city.
The New York Times reported that some scholars are skeptical of the finding, but the lead Israeli archeologist says she works with the Bible in one hand and the tools of excavation in the other.
And the biblical pool of Siloam has been found by workers repairing a sewage pipe in the old city of Jerusalem.
The Gospel of John says that Jesus healed a man blind from birth at the pool of Siloam.
Neither of these finds is going to change much. But again, it is confirmation that the Bible is historically accurate. And it is just cool:)

I agree, It is always cool when modern man finds something else to confirm the accuracy of the biblical narrative.
