Update

Well... I saw War of the Worlds the other day. Personally, I thought it was good, but not great. Direction was fine, acting was fine, but... I don't know. It wasn't very encouraging.

Batman Begins was much better, fun, realistic, and yet faniciful. Well directed, acting was well done, and it even made Batman seem somewhat logical (why would a guy dress up like a bat?)

Anyway... I figured I would mention those, I don't really have time to go into detail. Basically both fall under the "fun fluff" category of films.

Well, my GF is coming out to visit this weekend into next week, so I doubt I will be updating much:) I will be having fun! I will try to get something in later on that is more meaningful!

Am I the only one who finds it funny that he does not find "War of the Worlds" - a film about intergalactic armageddon and the attempted genocide of humankind by a hostile alien race - "encouraging"?

I should explain:) I was going to say that for it to become the big summer movie would be an uphill battle because it isn't very encouraging. I think I forgot the rest of the sentence!

I don't know, I just didn't really have a reaction to it. It was, I saw it, and it wasn't bad, it was actually pretty good (better than most said it was) I just... I wasn't all that thrilled. i guess it is kind of like watching "Final Destination" or something... you know they will all die, so what is the point? You know the aliens are all powerful until the germ defeats them, so what is the point? Again, it was good, but... I don't know, I wasn't thrilled.

You haven't published much with her NOT here, why should we hope for anything while she is here?
;-)
Maybe she will give you something to write about. We can only hope.
