McCain's VP pick isn't well known. Here's a reasonably bias-free article about her. The two things people will hit on are mentioned in this article. She's go no experience (but she's been governor of Alaska for two years which sounds like more executive experience than anyone running right now) and she's got "controversy" or "a scandal" around her (which seems to be really overblown).
I like the pick. Gutsy, interesting... and note... no one is talking about Obama's speech:D
