Indy IV

Well... driving down Elm Street last night... I saw Harrison Ford. They were getting ready to film a scene at Yale. Not every day you see a star that big on the side of the road. Of course, a group of high school age kids walked by and didn't even notice but...

I've been on shoots before, but the scale of this one surpasses anything I've even seen. Pretty much the entire Yale campus including the streets that run in between are being used, their are quite a few of trailers around the green, 3 or 4 blocks of Chapel street is completely retrofitted to look like the 1950's, classic cars everywhere, trucks with huge light rigs, camera rigs, who knows what else parked on the sides of the road all over, several units filming at the same time... massive. I hope someday I will be a part of (the head of?) a production that grand. Ah, dreams...
