A leading Protestant theologian, and the head of the Evangelical Theological Society, has turned Catholic!
For a response to this, I found this article helpful. It contains some big words and concepts, which the author assumes the reader will know. However, it is still readable and I think answers some of the questions of just what the difference is between the Protestant and Roman Catholic views, and how they square up historically. The section on the early church fathers and their views is particularly enlightening, as it is the strongest argument the RCC has when debating Protestantism.
