I don't care what you say about me, just make sure you spell my name right...

Well... I work for a Christian organization that seeks to change the moral content of the media. The name of the organization is Mastermedia International Inc. and it is founded by Dr. Larry Poland. One of the publications that Mastermedia puts out is the Media Leader Prayer Calendar, which lists the top 365 media leaders (read executives who have control over major avenues of communication) and the top 365 cultural influencers (people who exert a high level of influence in our culture). Each day, one from each category is listed, and people are encouraged to pray for them.

Well, the cultural influencer on February 22nd of this year was... Stephen Colbert! And, since Mastermedia sends a copy of the calendar and a note to each person as they come up, he found out about it, and made a segement of his show about it that day.

And then he did so again... and again! The latest was Friday, and you can find a copy of the segement over at Mod-Blog.

Apparently he mentioned that he was asking God for a Gulfstream IV in the first show... and I have it on good authority that he recieved it, along with a personal letter from God... however it wasn't quite in the way he thought... God (and His people) have quite a sense of humor!

Stay tuned:)

Yes, Dr. Poland sent a model with a note from "God" regarding Colbert's not being specific on size and something else. I don't know the exact contents. Colbert should have recieved it on Monday or Tuesday.
