The Exodus Decoded

While on our honeymoon, Amy and I were watching some TV, and an ad came on advertising a Discovery Channel special called "The Exodus Decoded". It was airing, I believe, on Easter Sunday evening. So, being interested in such things, we watched it.

It was quite good, and very interesting. I didn't agree with all of the theories and ideas that the filmmaker was postulating, but I did find quite a lot that I liked, and I liked the fact that he was giving good evidence in an interesting way. I think he succeeded in at least giving a workable theory of how it could have happened scientifically, when it may have happened archaeologically, and proved that it is at least possible that the Biblical account is true. Which is about as far as science can go.

Well, that was shown on Discovery Canada.

Here is the important part. On August 20th, it will be on the History Channel in the US!

I would encourage anyone who is interested in the Bible, or in evidences for it's accuracy, to check this out. It is supremely interesting, and very entertaining. And he has some really cool discoveries.

So... check it out!
