Humans On Display in London!

Okay, this is just... so astoundingly out of wack I hesitate to comment! First off, the premise is wrong. Humans ARE NOT just like other animals. You are viewing this on a computer. Has any other animal even come up with a way of adding 1 plus 1? Apes might be able to add, but they didn't come up with it (unless you are an evolutionist who believes that we come from apes, in which case... nevermind). We are MUCH different than other animals. We can reason. No other animal can. Koko doesn't count, she just immatates:D

Second... what do you think a city or town is? It is a human in its natural habitat for crying out loud! They live in groups, forage for food together, mate... what is this with humans in a "natural habitat" of caves and leaves? We left that millenia ago, according to the evolutionists!

Humans were created in the image of God. We can think and reason. We design and build, and not just by using what is around us, we mold our materials to our own will. Monkey's with sticks trying to get termites out of a mound aren't on the same level with a computer:D On top of that, we appreciate artistic expression for its own sake. No other animal does. There are birds that build "bowers" but they are for mating, or peacocks that have bright feathers. But we view a sunset and enjoy it for a deeper reason than mating. We also wonder who we are and why we are here. I don't know about you, but my dog either already knows, or doesn't care:) And I think that goes for other animals too!

Anyway, this just hit me wrong. But, if we are to belive evolution, then this is perfectly normal. We are just another animal. And that sort of thinking then brings us to caring more about wales than babies and giving rights to dogs, cats and other animals.

So don't pull so hard on Fi Fi's leash...

I thought this display was really silly when I first heard of it, but you have brought some reason and clarity as to why. Thanks for your thoughts.

When I read the article in the paper what struck me was the fact that the little kids would say "what are people doing in there?" They used this supposedly as an example to show how humans were just another primate... but I thought that comment did just the opposite! The God-given innocence and spirit of a little child recognizes the truth, recognizes there is a difference. To me it proved the opposite of the "they're another animal" argument.
