Well, they have chosen a voice for Aslan in "The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe". They finished the first recording session yesterday.
However, I do not feel at liberty to say who it is right now. I was told in confidence. But I think the voice will be perfect!
But I know that I am the only one who knows, other than those actually involved in production of the movie:) I'll tell you later...

I SO want you to report that it is GS!
Let's be honest. It is someone with a good voice but who will embarass the estate of C.S. Lewis a few weeks after the movie comes out, by doing something awful in public. Sigh.
It isn't GS, and I doubt this actor will cause any embarassment after it comes out. I think he is a great choice.
